Susan has been looking after our cats when we travel for many years now and we have always been totally happy with her care of them but on this last two week trip overseas she had to face the challenge of our oldest cat who had kidney disease suddenly going into a crisis. Susan recognized that she was not doing well and got her to the emergency vet and managed to reach me even though our internet and phone service was not working as expected. She very lovingly stayed with her and stayed in communication with me which gave me great comfort since I couldn’t be there. It must have been a horrible situation for her but she was wonderful throughout.
Susan is simply outstanding! Susan loves animals and is very attentive to their needs and preferences. Susan is diligent, caring, super smart, flexible, resourceful, and utterly reliable. Susan has been providing pet care for my cat for over a decade. Our cat is now 22 years old. I recently asked Susan if someone could visit our old cat up to 3 times a day while we were away. Susan put together a wonderful team of caregivers, and they provided daily updates and photos, which was very reassuring to me. When we returned home, our cat was calm, relaxed, and content. Many, many thanks to Susan, Ann, and Julie for their exceptional care!
Susan is a wonderful cat carer and treats my cat as if she is her own. Over the past year, I have had to be out of the country for extended periods of time—even up to a month—and Susan helped me feel calm and prepared to leave my cat behind for that long. She is great at keeping me updated while I’m traveling, and my cat is so well taken care of when I return. She even goes the extra mile by taking care of me! From providing me contact info for a shuttle driver to pick me up from the airport during bad weather to putting my packages inside the apartment building when she is taking care of a neighbor’s cat, I can always count on Susan to be there for me and for my cat. I am so thankful to have such a kind and reliable cat sitter. I highly recommend Susan!
I recently adopted a rescue cat and needed a last minute sitter while I was out of town. I connected with Susan and was very pleased with her service. I can only echo what other reviewers have said - she is very experienced, compassionate and thorough. I was quite worried about leaving my cat as she had only a few days to acclimate to her new surroundings but Susan immediately brought comfort and calm. I very much appreciated her updates and the photos as it was clear I needed some reassurance! She also watered my plants and kept an eye on the house. I highly recommend Susan - you will be leaving your pet in excellent hands!
Susan is a wonderful pet sitter! Over the past 10 years, Susan has taken care of our dog and cat many times. Susan loves animals, and she is always very sweet and kind to our pets. Susan goes out of her way to attend to our pets’ individual needs and quirky preferences. Susan is utterly reliable, diligent, and trustworthy. She is also very smart, creative, and resourceful. We have a very frail, older cat, for whom Susan devised a great pet-sitting plan. When we go out of town, I am always comforted to know that Susan is caring for our pets.
Susan has been caring for our cat for almost three years. Animals have a sense for kind and caring people, and our cat took an immediate liking to Susan. It is clear that the comfort and safety of your pet is her top priority. Recently our cat developed some health problems. Susan had no trouble handling her medication. Susan even gave me useful tips on getting our cat to eat to regain weight she lost from illness. It is hard to be away from a beloved pet, but I never worry for our cat when she is in Susan's care. If you can't be home...you want Susan caring for your pets.
Susan has been caring for our two cats for almost six years. She is thoughtful, conscientious, trustworthy, and tidy. She is an excellent communicator who sends regular updates when we travel and responds promptly to our email messages. On the rare occasions when Susan is unavailable, she refers us to another petsitter who is also excellent. Susan has cared for our cats for several days up to three weeks when we travel. She is willing to go the extra mile if our property or cats have problems while we our away. For instance, our furnace stopped working during a recent cold snap. Susan immediately contacted us in France. At our request, she contacted our neighbor who arranged for repairs. She also created "nests" from blankets to keep our cats warm and checked on them twice rather than once daily. We highly recommend Susan's services.
Susan is wonderful caring for our guinea pigs, rabbit, and a parakeet. We couldn't go on vacation without her! We get little updates and photos, which is just lovely. She also brings in the mail and waters the plants if needed. I highly recommend Susan! She is awesome 🙂
Susan cared for our two special needs cats over a long weekend. She made a pre-visit, during which she asked detailed questions and wrote down our cats’ needs and our wishes. She is efficient, friendly, and compassionate. She sent us a text every time she visited and will include photos, too. I felt like her first priority was the health and happiness of our cats—exactly what we were hoping for. She even helped us with ideas about a health issue with one of them, including following up with me about it after her visits were over. I recommend her highly as a pet sitter.
I was really in a pinch when I contacted Susan. I had a family emergency and needed immediate care for my guinea pigs, and she was very wonderful about arranging care ASAP! The piggies were in good hands, with extra veggies Susan brought them from her home. I even got a couple photos sent to me which was nice 🙂 Overall, the pet sitting Susan provided our family was fantastic. I felt reassured that the piggies were well cared for, and I would definitely call her again!
